I first read Uche Offodile’s Anambra: Oil Prospects, Brewery Scandal, on elombah.com. I have also followed reactions to it online. What is instructive is that Offodile's critics attack him without addressing the issues raised in the article. Today he replied Obi’s attack Dogs on the article and said: "Expectedly, a wave of attacks from
Government agents directed at my person hit the airwaves following the publication of the article "First Salvo Came From Governor Peter Obi Himself In An Onitsha Radio Programme, 'Sapienta Express' this Morning, calling me names without debunking any of the facts stated in my write up. I will ignore, as usual, the uncouth commentary of the low level, poorly paid media/protocol officer and focus on his principal.
"Now, Let the World Know; that Governor Obi Is The First Governor In Nigeria To Receive Bribe From A Foreign Company By Way Of Shares.[ Documented Bribe]
"Let The Governor Make Known To The World How The Shares Allocated To His Company 'Next Ltd' In The Sabmiller Brewery Were Paid For. Put Up Or Shut Up!!"
As Onyeigbo, I am happy that that Anambra is set to join the league of oil producing state. Moreover, while one has reservation that the major industries coming to Enugu and Anambra state appears to be only breweries - Ka were beer nugbuo onwe ayi - the prospect of employment generation prospects is laudable, but if Governor Peter Obi using these initiatives to make billions to himself, it should be deplored.
I agree with Ken Okey that "reading Chudi Offodile's article, one will shake his head at the height Nigeria leaders has taken indecency cum corruption in office to but in the case of Governor Peter Obi of Anambra sate I have continued to say it that the man is never an honest person judging from his activities prior to becoming a governor and while the governor, his administration is filled with dishonesty and I said it that when he leaves office people will come to know and see the destruction he effected in Anambra state.
"The cunning man take Anambra state as his personal property and company, just read the the article and see how everything about Anambra state business starts from Peter Obi’s purse and end up in same Peter Ob’s purse".
"The man mingles state affairs indiscriminately with his personal business all because of his dishonesty in enriching himself stupendously with Anambra state resources, one thing is certain, the deceit will never last forever because according to Chike Odunukwe, “Time is the greatest enemy of lies and liars” and such time is hastily approaching for the administration of Peter Obi.
"If he revoked the right of occupancy of another company because he wants to use the land, there is a saying that goes thus: “soldier go…soldier come!” so as he vacates office another governor may also find it easy to follow his example by revoking the right of occupancy of the new landlord brought in by Peter Obi of which he is part of the landlord in the long run.
"I have always believed that governor Peter Obi is not honest a little bit, that he is pulling lots of wool over peoples eyes and I dare to say that I will be proven clearly right when the man vacates office and the stench of the various deceitfulness he has been sitting on will start to ooze out to the disturbance of the public including those that has been supporting and fighting for him naively".

LEGAL
"1- Governor Peter Obi announced that Anambra has invested N2billion to fund its equity investment in SABmiller Breweries. We now know that the business has 400 shares,40 of which belongs to Anambra State. But since the value of the share is 100,000 each, the total investment for the state should be N4million. So where is the balance of N1.996 billion at large. This is the answer to the question of how he got money to fund the 230 shares allocated to the SABmiller Nigeria Ltd,owned by 'some businessmen' - EMBEZZLEMENT and DISHONESTY and contravention of the APPROPRIATION ACT.
"2-Governor Obi revoked a non-offending property owned by investors in the East Central ,then Anambra Economy who have been in operation for before he left primary school adding value to the steel /industrial sector (arguably better for Anambra future than a beer factory) for purported 'overrriding publc interest and ended up stealing the land for his private company-ABUSE OF OFFICE.
"3- Governor Obi personally handled all the transactions himself. This is a contravention of the PUBLIC SERVICE CONDUCT guidelines because no one can act as the recommender and the approver under the code-ABUSE OF OFFICE and PRIVILEGE.
"4-There is yet no sign that any of the details of investment,financial projections where made known to either the fourth or fifth Anambra State House of Assembly who possess the exclusive right of appropriation in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria- ABUSE OF OFFICE/USURPATION OF ROLES and the principle of separation of powers.
"5-Obi contravened his oath of office when he allowed his personal interest to influence his official conduct and his official decisions.
MORAL
"6-Without notice, he demolished all shops on the street leading to the brewery thereby destroying many businesses overnight,instead of relocating them.
"7-Has positioned to rope the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in an intractable Corruption web which is likely to add to his current wave of challenges in office.
"The above is by no means exhaustive. It is just an attempt to provide the basis for a productive discussion on the foregoing ,rather than short sweeping statements.
"The vital questions are : What should the presideent do now? What should the company dispossessed of their developed land of over 40 years be doing? What demands should Anambra people place on their governor and the House of Assembly now? What should the House of Asembly be doingg on their own? What exactly should the Obi Of Onitsha copious;y menttioned here be doing to clear his name and throw more light? How can Anambra use these revelations to emplace a struggle that would better their lives and free them finally from rogue leaders?"
